Complete Top Overhaul Schedule for High and Medium-Speed 4-Stroke Marine Engines

Reliable operation of offshore vessels depends heavily on the condition and performance of the main propulsion engine. High- and medium-speed 4-stroke engines operate under demanding conditions and require periodic top overhaul maintenance to ensure safe operation, maintain efficiency, and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
A planned top overhaul allows critical engine components to be inspected, measured, cleaned, reconditioned, or replaced as required. By following a structured maintenance schedule, vessel operators can identify wear at an early stage and maintain the engine in accordance with operational requirements.
