Lakshmi Prasanna, an alumna of NIT Trichy with a degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, has over 5 years of experience in Project Management and Product Development, specializing in Industrial IoT, Cloud, Data Analytics, and the integration of Machine Learning and AI. At Neptunus Power Plant Services Pvt. Ltd., she leads a team of five and has driven the successful completion of 30+ EPC & ECMS projects across defense, marine, and energy sectors, leveraging IoT to optimize operational efficiency.

Lakshmi is at the forefront of product development, focusing on enhancing reliability solutions through condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance. She has been instrumental in securing ABS and IRS certifications for the company’s Engine Condition Monitoring product, contributing to Neptunus’ reputation for delivering world-class standards.

Beyond her professional role, Lakshmi enjoys walking, reading, and watching movies, and she is keen to connect with fellow professionals in the marine, industrial IoT, and reliability engineering fields for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
